Mt. Rainier Elopement
In August of 2025, I joined Erica and Henry in the beautiful Pacific Northwest to capture their Mt Rainier Elopement. A simple and elegant wedding day. Setting their vows in stone with the mountains. We flew in over a rain-whispered, evergreen-drenched Washington. Started getting settled into the familyβs Airbnbs and our stay at the Peak Motel. We explored, wandering and envisioning the hand-in-hand walks for their special day.
We laid our Mt Rainier map out, unpacked all the details, and we began their wedding day. Erica cheered with her mom and sister by her side, mountains draping the landscape. Henry, her groom, was beaming to see his bride for the first time. They said their vows hand in hand, with a heart-shaped rock they found the year prior, under the spotlight of the sun. The family prayers over the marriage and a sage smudge sent them on their way winding up the mountain. At the Sunrise corridor of Mt Rainier National Park, we gathered to join the couple in the sharing of their promises. Of course first celebrating that, with a hot dog break.
We explored Mt Rainier National Park to take Erica and Henryβs bridal portraits. We roamed through the trails equipped with vitamin R (Rainier Beer) sunnies and a free spirit. I captured many special moments at a special spot that the bride and groom had visited the day before, and straggled back under the Mt Rainier sign to wrap up the private moments after saying βI doβ. Getting back into the small intimate town of Packwood Washington, we enjoyed the camaraderie of family, cheers and beers at Packwood Brewing Company. The sunset behind Mt Rainier sank us into an evening celebrating Erica and Henry, enjoying serenades by Curtis Roy Moore and overwhelming love.
If this story calls to you, and you officially want to plan your elopement in Mt Rainier National Park, I am your girl. I want to be the one you call and trust to roam with you, capturing your big moments, epic adventures, and everything in between.
